Abstract Dynamics of photoinduced species, as a key parameter for nanomaterials plays significantly role in the performance optoelectronic devices. In this work, origin broadband optical response emerging Ti 3 C 2 T x MXene is revealed by transient spectroscopic analysis. From ultraviolet to infrared, steady-state and responses present wavelength-related features. The carrier lifetime found change from femtosecond nanosecond time scale dominated various i.e., surface plasmon. unique character enables photodetection.
